The Retreat has decided not to do this race this spring. We are considering a fall race instead. Run/Walk For Hope 5k East Hampton          *Where violence ends and hope begins* Organized with the East End Road & Trail Runners Club   When: Saturday, April 4, 2009 Where: East Hampton High School Long Lane East Hampton NY Why: The Retreat's mission is to provide safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse and to break the cycle of family violence. Cost: $20.00 pre-registered postmarked by March 27th, $25.00 Day of Race.    Check in & day of race registration 8:30 - 9:30am. Race starts promptly at 10. Awards: Top male and female overall and first three in each age group. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, dehydration, traffic, ice and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
